I worked in my journal tonight. The left side is the end of one signature, and the right is the beginning of another. So there is a gap in the middle. Before I did anything, I put some masking tape down over the gap to make it easier to paint. I used my MacBook Pro again as a mirror, but this time I used iMovie so that I could have a bigger picture than when I used PhotoBooth like with Day 1. I’ll make a tutorial on using both of them for this purpose soon.

After putting down some tape, I painted the background with acrylic paint, then did the self-portrait. For the stamped text, I used my Crap Toy Small alphabet stamps. The stamped lines that I wrote on are from my Journaling Stamp sheet

The stamps I used are Crap Toy Small alphabet stamps, the stamped lines that I wrote on are from my Journaling Stamp sheet, and the doodle stamp is from Doodles & Carvings. The little star is a hand-carved stamp from 30 Days of Carving. For the outlined letters, I drew the outline with a Sakura Identi-Pen, and filled them in with a white Pen-touch paint marker.I did the writing on the stamped lines with a Sakura Pigma Micron Pen.I created the red shadow around my body with a red Derwent Inktense Pencils. That was the first time I have used an inktense pencil, and I really liked it. I only have the one that I got on my trip, but I’m going to save up to get a small set.
