Here’s a journal spread I started last night when my little group was over (well, we weren’t just knitting . . . ). The I worked on it more in bed, and then added some finishing touches this morning. Since I got back from the Estes Park Wool Market, I’ve been playing catch up on everything, and I’ve also felt really inspired artistically–which is a double-edged sword. It’s great to feel inspired to create art work, but it also makes it hard for me to do other work that needs to get done. It’s always a struggle for balance, especially it seems for creative people. This morning right after I finished this spread up, I yawned and stretched, and something very bad happened in my neck . . . I heard it and felt . . . I’m trying to pretend like nothing bad happened. But since I have chronic neck problems, it’s a little hard to ignore it. I’m hoping it won’t slow me down too much. Today I have planned major productivity!

I get the same feeling when I come back from Estes. I couldn’t go this year, but somehow I have that same strong need to weave and spin that I usually get after the trip. Maybe it is just the time of year for me. I hope your neck is okay. I think I have the same neck problems that you do, so believe me I sympathize!
