By Monday, my neck wasn’t feeling too bad. But then Tuesday, when I started working on some pattern editing, my neck went back to being really painful. It was looking down to work on the patterns that did it. Yesterday on the way back from the chiropractor, I bought this easel. It’s inexpensive, light-weight, folds flat, is adjustable, and I think will fit on my “breakfast in bed tray” that I use when I do art in bed. The hope is I can do most of my work on it, whether working in my journal or pattern editing, and I won’t have to look down. Today when I woke up, I was in an incredible amount of pain, and as the day went on, the pain was really wearing on me. I finally gave in a took a pain killer, then got out my polaroid pinhole camera and holgaroid and distracted myself. I used some of the photos I took here in this spread. The good news is, I did this on the little easel and it worked out pretty well.

Love the page, but sorry you’re having so much pain. Sending you healing thoughts.
