My cat is a hunter. He catches birds, rabbits, snakes, grasshoppers and frogs and brings them to me as a gift. Many times they are still alive when he brings them through the pet door. This time, it was already battered and deep fried.
Awhile back, he brought me a waffle bigger than his head. . . .
He has brought me waffles twice now.
I guess he doesn’t understand that I am a vegetarian and don’t want to eat (someone else’s) chicken.
I have no idea where he is finding these things.

Oh, I’m sorry, but this is funny.
Adorable. And gross.
My dad’s old cat used to spend the whole night hunting bugs and leaving them at the foot of the bed. My dad would get out of bed and his bare feet would crunch on a pile of dead bugs.
We didn’t have money for groceries yesterday. We could have used some fried chicken then, LOL! Of course I’m kidding but cooked bird is better than dead bird that my dogs bring home to me!

this is a high compliment from a cat. cats are loners and solitary so sharing their kills (or founds for that matter) is a high praise. they are trying to keep you fed. although traci i am with you and dont eat meat, luckily my cat is indoor only so i only get bugs!
