I want to play with my Gakken Stereo Pinhole camera on my vacation to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Since I don’t read Japanese, I need some help with the exposure guide. Does anyone read Japanese? Or has anyone used one of these cameras and have an idea of exposure times? I’m using the pinholes that came with the camera.

The smaller chart reads as follows (for ISO 100 film)
Top row: Sunny, light clouds, cloudy, indoor
Middle row: Steady/solid object, less than a second, one second, 2 sec., 1 min.
Bottom row: Panorama, 1 second, 2 sec., 4 sec., 2 minutes
The usage of the bottom chart is “described on page 23″.
Since you’re using the stereo version, I’d wager that the F number is 128 (the one with two dots). Start at 2 seconds and run a test roll, bracketing as you go. It would also probably help if you had a light meter to try and figure out appropriate exposure time as you move from one place to another. Still, with a pinhole, you can afford to be a little sloppy.
