I just got an e-mail letting me know that my Art House (and my pets!) will be in the summer issue of Studios Magazine! I’m so excited! So for all of the people who laughed and thought I was crazy when I painted the outside orange . . . the editor of the magazine loves the color of my Art House (and she even watched my little youtube ArtHouse video tour). Yes, you can see it from a long way away in the winter when the leaves are off of the trees, but it’s so cheerful! And bright! I have to take pictures of it by March 1. And the trick is, they want outdoor shots, and they want it to look like it’s summer . . . but I’m sure I have some photos I’ve already taken of it when my flowers were blooming and my yard was looking great. A far cry from Kansas in the dreary winter. Luckily it’s toasty inside.
