Retro French Book Repurposed into a Spiral Bound Journal or Sketchbook

Here is a journal / sketchbook that I made from salvaged covers from a French Book “Ces Gens Qui Passent.” I love the funky mustard cover with turquoise and brown printing, and I thought giving it a red coil binding would add to the charm. The inside pages are a mixture from vintage books, watercolor paper, vintage ledger paper, and card stock. Either work on the pages as is, letting the original printing on those pages add to the visual texture, or apply a thin layer of gesso first. How ever you decide to use it, it’s a perfect size to slip into your bag for journaling, collaging, sketching or writing wherever you are. Since it it spiral bound, it opens flat making it easy to work in. This is perfect for any artist or creative person.

Approx 5-3/4″ x 8-1/2″
approx 80 mixed pages (40 sheets)

You can get it here!
