Yes, I’m still on my super uber awesome kick. Notice I did leave out the other “F” word, which sorry, is a favorite of mine. But, don’t worry, I don’t throw it around wantonly.
Anyway, I’m behind on posting this, so sorry about the shortish notice. My open house is sneaking right up. Saturday, September 12th from 1-4pm. So to those of you who are local, please come by and say howdy. I’m busy dyeing up more fiber and yarn. And I hope to get more books made too! Who knows what lovelies I’ll have by then.
How did it get to be September already? Since I was working like a crazy person on my book, I feel like I woke up from a not-so-restful slumber to find out that more than half of the year has gone by. It seems to have already turned to fall here in Lawrence, KS. If the weather continues to cooperate, then people coming to my open house can hang around outside knitting or spinning or crocheting, or whatever they want to do. I’ll have some chairs set up outside just in case. In my old studio in the big warehouse, that was a really fun part of my open houses that I miss. My ArtHouse is just too small for that. So let’s hope the weather stays nice and it doesn’t rain!
