I made this for my friends’ 20th wedding anniversary. It’s based on the painting and collage techniques I developed and teach in my uber self-portraits & uber surreal paintings workshops. This piece is 12″ x 16″. It’s not as involved as I usually make this kind of piece, but I did that intentionally and like how it turned out. They like to travel, so I used tissue paper that had old maps on it for the collaged background.
