I’m always on the look out for funky art supplies and a deal. I found both the other day at Michaels! When ever I’m there, I always check out their dollar section. In the past I’ve found some great printed packing tape for $1 each, which I stocked up on. I found a new style in their Christmas section (yes, I said Christmas). They had two kinds of printed plaid packing tape, also for $1. And in another section, I found some fun little tapes. Can you guess how much they were? Yep, $1 a package. You’re catching on! They don’t have much on each roll, but there are 5 of them! Which is great, because you can share with friends. They are really cute. Not cheesy cute, but funky cute, which I’m all about. I used them in this journal page.

You can see the red, plaid tape on the right. I used the orange flower tape on the sides of my self-portrait, taken with my Instax 210. Wait! I can hear all the questions, so I’ll tell you now. I embellished my photo with Sakura Soufflé pens, and also Sharpie Poster Paint Pens. While working on my latest book, the Art Journal Workshop, I fell in love with both the Soufflé pens and the Glaze pens, and wonder how I have managed all this time without them.

Glad you're feeling better. Love your work and this page. I love fun tapes too–thanks for sharing.
I know! I was shocked when I saw this same tape at Michaeals. I snagged a few and actually I am almost out of the blue one with dots.
