So here’s a funny little pencil tin I got in Los Angeles quite a few years ago. I’m a sucker for containers and tins, especially ones that have odd english on them, like this one. It says “Happy a good time.” I really love “This is a wonderful power.”
Then you open it up and see this.
It can almost hold all of my erasers that I carved from 30 Days of Carving project.
Here they are in all of their glory. Quite a great assortment of new stamps for me to use. Don’t forget, some I carved on both sides, but there wasn’t any way to show those.
I am so proud of myself for keeping to my 30 Days of Carving, and doing it every day (well, except for the whole stuck in Denver due to a blizzard and my suitcase with my carving supplies was lost thing). And I really enjoyed sketching every day. I haven’t done either since my 30 days was over. I need to figure out a new 30 days of something. Got any ideas? I want to keep up with sketching, but not sure if I want that to be my 30 days commitment. Maybe work in my art journal every day and show the progress? I’m not sure. What do you think? But I do like having a creative commitment like that for myself.

Thanks for sharing this awesome project. You inspired me to break out my trusty old Speedball lino cutter and that (odd little) tin of erasers I've had gathering dust on my supply shelf. I do hope you'll keep up the sketching and find another 30-day project soon. Cheers!

The stamps are great, Traci! This was a good project. I like your idea of working in your journal everyday for the next 30 day challenge. Maybe you could commit to using one of your new stamps every day or taking one stamp and using it in 30 different ways.

I'd love to see a journal spread every day, but that might be pretty time consuming for you. Perhaps a mail art card for 30 days? It's smaller and quicker, but you'd still have a great stockpile to choose from and send out once the month is over. Whatever you choose, I can't wait to see!
