I set a time limit of a half hour this morning because I’ve got a lot to do. And, this is what I got done. A coat of gesso, 2 layers of paint, glued down 2 pictures, did some writing and started filling it in with marker. I also put some tape along 2 edges of the flower photo. You really can get a lot done in a short amount of time. I don’t think I mentioned before that my book is 8″ x 10″. So I’m basically working on a spread that’s 16″ wide x 10″ long. It’s a book that I made myself, filled with a mix of pages. Here’s what it looks like.
I started it the beginning of 2009, so I’ve been working in it a long time. But there only a few spreads left. (I work from front to back.) You can see some of my journal spreads from it here.
Don’t forget to check out Bianca’s post to see what she did today for her 30 Days of Journaling. You can see the rest of my posts for this project here.

Traci, I love that you set a limit on time creating instead of not creating at all (not that I can resist creating). I've been hesitating at using photos on my journal pages (mostly too lazy to print them) but your work inspires me to give it a shot.
The different papers look interesting…
You make such beautiful journals! It will be fun to see how the page evolves. have fun in your 30 art journaling days!
