Friday night I stayed up crazy late getting my studio ready for my open house. But I didn’t want to skip working in my journal. So at about 3am, I did a little collaging in it before going to bed. Here’s what the spread looked like before I worked on it.
I did this as a demo in a journaling class I taught last weekend in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was the next spread in my journal, so I collaged on it for day 25. Here’s what it looked like after that.
Tonight after my open house, I finished the spread. I did it early in the evening because I knew if I waited until later, there was a good chance I’d fall asleep and not get to it. I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night, and I haven’t been getting much more of that the other nights. So I’m pretty exhausted.
My open house went well, and I got my studio pretty clean (considering how messy it was). I didn’t get the table cleaned off, but everything worked out. Here’s what it looks like.
And here’s a panorama shot. After taking a bunch of pictures with my iPod touch, I stitched them together with AutoStitch. If you click on it, it’ll take you to flickr where you can magnify it for better viewing.
Be sure to check out what Bianca did in her journal. You can see the rest of my posts for this project here.

Beautiful photos of your open house, if I ever am around I'll definitely look if I may:)

Like your tarot card journal page. I used to read tarot for a living!
Great studio space…I love all that colorful yarn etc.
I hope the open house went great, I'd love to come to one someday! All that fiber, sigh. *drools*
I hope you get to sleep in and relax tomorrow. Even if it means putting shit off, you deserve a break.
