Tonight I was doing some “construction” on my Art House–it has a loft that I use for storage, and I’m closing what had been an open area of the floor of the loft (or ceiling of the main part) so I’ll have even more storage space. Let’s just say hanging a floor joist by yourself isn’t easy. And I smashed my thumb in the process. It really, really hurts. But, even pooped and suffering from a throbbing thumb (luckily it’s not my dominant hand!), I still worked in my journal. I didn’t even use the full 30 minutes (just 25) because I felt I was pretty much done with the background, and didn’t feel like starting on the meat of the page. Or perhaps calling it the “tofu” of the page is more appropriate since I’m a vegetarian. Check back tomorrow to see what it evolves into.
Be sure to check out what Bianca did in her journal. You can see the rest of my posts for this project here.
