Just a colorful reminder for those in my area, my open house is next Saturday June 4, 2011 from 1-4pm. I’ve been dyeing up a storm to have all kinds of spinning fibers and yarn for sale. I’ve got some new rayon ribbon yarn, a new superwash merino/bamboo/nylon sock-weight yarn, and some new colors in the other yarns. I’ll also have my henna stencils and rubber stamps. Then the next weekend I’ll be at the Estes Park Wool Market. So my open house will give you first dibbs at what I’ll have at the wool market.
My arthouse is in the backyard. From the front of my house, go through the gate and across the side porch on the south side of my house.
June 11-12th, Estes Park Wool Market
Fairgrounds at Stanley Park
intersection of U.S. Highway 36 and Community Drive
Estes Park, CO
If you can’t make it to either, the spinning fibers, henna stencils and rubber stamps are in my web site. The yarn will be there some time after I get back from Estes Park and have a chance to photograph them.
At my open house and the Estes Park Wool Market, I’ll have both of my books, The Art Journal Workshop, and Print & Stamp Lab for sale. Or you can order them from my web site to get an autographed copy.
Hope you are staying safe with all of the crazy storms we’ve been having!
best,

I was just commenting today how glad I was to no longer be in the Midwest, what with all the craziness in the weather. (Heard there was a tornado approaching downtown KC this past week.)
Your open house makes me wish I was there for the weekend, however. I hope that you have been safe and unscathed by the tornadic activity and storms, and that you have sunny, beautiful days for your sale at the studio.
Best of luck and safe travels!
If I ever had a chance to visit your art house, I might for a second look at the yarn. Then after that second, I would ask to look at one of your journals. Then you would have to pry it out of my hands when it was time to go, because i would still be staring at it. I love your work!
