I found out yesterday that my art friend, Aimee Myers Dolich of Artsyville, is moving to New York! Although I’m happy and excited for her, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was sad for me. My good friend and former studio mate Bobbi Studstill flew the coop earlier this summer. And now Aimee too?What’s this world coming to?
Aimee is already working on getting rid of things for the move, and she just dropped off this box of things. We couldn’t talk long because her daughters were climbing out the car windows (multiple times), but she told me some of items have been passed from friend to friend as they worked their way through the box. What goodies! It was like Christmas, but with sweat involved. Not only were there all kinds of art supplies and a big ole stack of magazines in the box, but she also gave me a 10-pack of canvases. There are some old jars with glitter in them that might look nice just up on a windowsill. I was excited about getting new toys and wanted to share with you! Woo-hoo!
