I’ve been getting ready for my art show that opens this Friday at the Landmark National Bank. I’m very excited, and nervous about it.

I’m a little nervous because of some of my new pieces. I’m integrating my visual journal work more into my mixed-media paintings. So, I’m feeling a little vulnerable. Here are two new pieces that are highlighted in the show.

Both of these are 24″ x 30″ on stretched canvas. I’ll have other mixed-media pieces, as well as photography. I’m doing the show with Kale Van Leeuwen, who is a prolific painter in Kansas City. If you can’t make it to our show, you can see his work here.
Our artwork will be showing through the end of March. If you are in the area, I would love for you to come to the opening reception this Friday for a celebration of our artwork. It’s from 5:30-7:30pm at the Landmark National Bank, 4621 W. 6th St., Lawrence, KS 66049. Here’s a map. I hope to see you there!

Thank you all so much! I appreciate all your sweet messages!
Beautiful painting and i like this designs.
have a great show! share some pix later maybe?
Congratulations Traci!!!
You have gone through some amazing changes since I first “met” you by way of your stamping book; and then I got to know you a little more by watching the video that was included in your book on journaling.
In addition to your artwork, what I’ve continued to admire most about you is your, innocent, no-apologies, honesty. That’s a rare commodity in our world, and something you can be proud of.
Best wishes for your continued, well deserved, success.
Again, congrats!!!
