It’s very soft, colors are intense, and it spins like a dream. I hand-dye the fiber with professional acid dyes that are colorfast and washfast. Superwash means the scales from the wool fibers have been chemically removed so that the fiber won’t felt. That means it’s machine washable and dryable with no felting. Great for kids’ garments or socks since it’s machine washable and dryable! Each hank is approx 4 oz of superwashalicious goodness.
When spinning superwash fiber, it’s a little slick since there are no scales, so it needs more twist than non-superwash fiber. If you’d like more than what I have listed as available, just let me know! I have lots!
(Note: I do my best to make sure the color looks accurate, but, everyone’s monitor is different. So the color might look different in real life than it does on your computer. Hand-dyed colors vary from batch to batch, so please be sure to buy enough for your project.)
