Dragonfly is mainly turquoise & aqua with bits of purple, golds, browns & greens. These silk hankies approx. 10" square. They are made up of lots and lots of layers of stretched out silk cocoons. Use them for spinning, felting, silk paper making, or other fiber crafts. Although they won't felt by themselves, you can use thin cob web layers on top of wool when felting, and the wool fibers will reach through the webby spots and grab on! You can also pull the silk hankies into a yarn and knit or crochet with them unspun! It's a great way to use silk fiber without having to spin it first. I've made beautiful scarves with unspun silk. Be sure to click on the option to receive a brief handout with your silk order on how to spin or knit and crochet with unspun hankies.

They are sold by the ounce, in 1 ounce increments.

Note: I do my best to make sure the color looks accurate. But, everyone's monitor is different, so the color might look different in real life than it does on your computer. Hand-dyed colors vary from batch to batch, especially with silk, so please be sure to buy enough for your project.

The colors of the hand-dyed silk hankies can vary greatly, even within the same batch. The ones you receive may look different than what is shown in the photos, but be within the same color families.
