The other day, I got back 2 boxes of various things I had sent off almost a year ago to be photographed for my book The Art Journal Workshop. Since I have so many art supplies and most of what I sent off were duplicates of what I already have, and since it’s always fun to get new toys, I thought these would be perfect for a giveaway. This one is the first of several! Don’t worry, all of these are unused!
Here’s what is in this batch:
- box of 24 crayons (the box got a little hole in it in shipping, but the crayons are still good!)
- box of 6 fine point liquid metals metallic markers (I have this same set, and they are great & super metallicy!)
- set of 8 prang watercolors with a brush
- Tim Holtz Distress Ink stamp pad: Walnut stain
- ColorBox Cat’s Eye Pigment brush pad: Lilac
- flower stamp
- butterfly & tiny leaves stamp on an acrylic block
- Le Pen marker: brown (this is a super fine point, great for detailed doodling or writing)
- Pentel Color Brush pen: Lemon Yellow
- bottle of Liquitex Soft Body acrylic paint: Light Blue Violet
- tube of Amsterdam Acrylic Paint: Carmine
- 3 tubes of pip-squeaks glitter glue: red, bue & aqua
- blue transparent tape (this has a very faint blue look)
- striped fabric tape
This should keep you creating for awhile!
So here’s the poop. To enter, simply fill out the form below no later than the end of Tuesday, May 3rd (you can leave a comment, but you have to fill out the form to be eligible). I’ll select a winner randomly on Wednesday, May 4th using random.org. I’ll notify the winner via e-mail, and the winner has 3 days to reply with their mailing address. Tell your friends! And this is for everyone, so you don’t have to be in the U.S. to play! Please only sign up once. Any duplicate entries will be deleted.

I would have fun and play with all those wonderful things. My granddaughter who is 6 and has an award for being creative at school would come and play with me. She is always amazed when I have some paint out that I use and she loves to work and play with me.
Susan, be sure to fill out the form to be eligible to win. I glanced, and didn’t see your e-mail address on it. I’d hate for you to miss a chance!
Thanks Traci! I filled out the form and thinking of craft projects I could do with them. I’d love to share the supplies with my two little girls too.
we started our own Barter Classes last year when the economy got so bad and several of my friends were unemployed. Once a month we get together and someone different each class will teach the rest of us something new in art. This is our second year and we are always in need of supplies.
i filled out the form, but wanted to say thanks for a chance to win some fun supplies! Hope you have a lovely day!
Your new book arrived this morning from Amazon, and I pretty much scrapped my entire plans for the day in order to curl up with it. I was so inspired that I stopped reading at one point and went to work in my journal. So far, I love it, and I’m only about 1/4 through it, if that.
I skipped grocery shopping in order to read and journal today, so I’ll be ordering in Italian for dinner and I blame you! hee hee
I have your book and am enjoying it immensely. I have a great many books on art journaling, and I must say that yours is the best.

Cool giveaway. Good luck to all who enter. 😉
First I´d jump up and down and then I´d call my painting pals up and invite everyone for a Paint Party and we´d have a great day of trying things,
experimenting, laughing, eating and having a great art day with friends. Then when they´d leave I´d get down to some serious business. Come on Traci, make my day:)
This is my entry to the art supply give away 🙂
Hope I used the right form.
Nancy
Nancy, to enter the giveaway, you need to fill out the form above the comments area–the form that is at the end of my blog post that asks what you’ll do with the supplies and your e-mail address. Leaving a comment is very appreciated, but that won’t put your info where I need it to do the drawing. Thanks!
we have spent many times during the summer in Estes Park. I’ve been to the Wool Market and only wish I was going to be there this time. Enjoy this special place. We haven’t been able to go the last couple of years for many reasons and I do miss it.
Good luck to you.
I’ve been a vendor there since 1995! So I love going. I always wish I had time to spend there without it being “work.”
Thanks for the giveaway! I just got your latest book – looks wonderful! I love how free you are in your journals and I hope it inspires me to just start with abandon! Thanks again.
What a great bunch of goodies-i answered the questions too-i think it might be time to get my 3-yr old niece into playing w/the “fun stuff” ~
What fun it would be to use these exact supplies to go through “Art Journal Workshop” but of course I will enjoy going through the book even if I don’t win the prize, lol!
Hi Traci,
First of all: I really enjoy reading your blog! It is inspiring and often makes me happy.
What a great give-away! I’m getting both of your books for my birthday (have to wait a month 🙁 , that’s long…) so with all this supplies trying out what you write about would be even more fun!
greatings,
Simone
I am an artist but have never tried art journaling. I JUST bought your book and thought that art journaling might be a great way to kind of recharge my creativity. The supplies would be a perfect kick off!! Thanks for the opportunity 🙂
