Today I worked more on these two pieces, adding more paint.
I’m wondering if I should add some light color washes to the flowers, or leave that part untouched.
I really love this photo, so I want to keep it as the focus. So I want to keep the colors in the border light, and not too overpowering. But who knows, it might totally change by the time I’m done. Maybe if the border is too light the whole piece will look washed out? I’m not sure, but thinking about it.
Oh, how I wish we had one more weekend day!
On a side note, since Feedburner seems to be going by the wayside, I am in the process of figuring out what to use as an alternative. Feedburner is what I used for my RSS feed, which is how some of you have followed my blog, whether from an RSS reader, or from getting my new posts via e-mail. As soon I decide what to use as an alternative, I’ll let you know. Those of you who subscribe to my RSS feed will need to resubscribe. Those of you who get my blog posts via e-mail probably won’t have to do anything. And that also goes for those of you who follow my blog via networked blogs, bloglovin, or similar services.
