Today I wanted to play some more with drawing on my [amazon_link id=”B0047DVWLW” target=”_blank” ]ipad[/amazon_link].
I think I might need a different stylus. I was having a little trouble with mine. It’s an inexpensive generic one, and it was skipping at times. I’m not sure if this is common.
Here’s a quick self-portrait I did the other day. And when I say quick, I mean quick. I didn’t look in the mirror or at a photo. I just did it when a was taking a break.
I’m using the app Paper. I like it, but I wish I could zoom in sometimes. And if I draw too close to the edge, when I have the tools hidden, they pop out. Does anyone have a drawing/painting app they like?
Tomorrow is the last day of 30 Days of Get Your Art On!
(I did this post completely from my [amazon_link id=”B0047DVWLW” target=”_blank” ]ipad[/amazon_link]!)

Traci,
I like the Paper app because it is simple. I’m using the stylus they recommend the Bamboo. If you check their forums, there is a lot of discussion about stylus choices.
Another I play with is Sketchbook Pro which allows you to work with layers and has more brush selections, etc. I can’t remember if it lets you zoom–I don’t use it as much.
