As soon as I sat down, Shelby was on my lap. So I started to sketch her and she kept moving.
Then she settled down, but she was between me and my sketch book. It was very interesting drawing what was between my eyes and my hands. I really love sketching with my Pitt Big Brush Artist Pen. I can make such bold, energetic lines with it. And, if I had decided to add watercolor to it, no problems with it bleeding since it is waterproof Indian ink! But, I decided just to leave it without color–especially since it’s 2am . . . You can see the rest of my posts for 30 Days of Drawing here.
LOVE these sketches Traci!
YES, you have to be fast and does Shelby give you the evil eye if you even move one little bit….LOL!
GREAT JOB!!!
My cats are always on my lap between me and what I am working on – as a matter of fact, one of them is rubbing his chin on my arm as I type! They watch for me to sit down and then try to be the first on in my lap. Great sketches!
