I was still in a lot of pain today from my head and neck. I was going to try to start making a new journal today, but decided it was too much since I felt like crap. I broke down and took a pain killer, and it took the edge off for awhile.
So, this is all I did today art-wise. (Well, I did dye 2 batches of spinning fiber also.) Blind contour drawings are fun. It’s where you draw something without looking at your paper. I’m always happy when you can at least tell what it is that I was drawing. I like that they look all wonky.
So that’s it! I hope I feel better tomorrow. And hopefully tomorrow I’ll start on a new journal. I looked through all of the old books I have to find the right size for my journal. And even though I have a lot of books, they were all either too big or too small. I like about 8″ x 10″ for this type of journal. I found a few that “might” work . . . but I might end up making one without using old book covers.
