Bonkers Yarn Club: Jan-March
A quarterly subscription to receive different lovely yarn hand-dyed by me every month for 3 months.
$54.00 — $108.00
Club yarn will be either a new color and/or a new yarn that is only available to club members and is not part of my normal line at that time. Members can purchase more while supplies last and if there is any left, it will be available to the public 6 months after it was originally offered.
The yarns in each quarter will be a surprise! There will be a variety of weight, fiber content & skein size, and no combination of color and yarn will be repeated. That means no matter how long you continue your subscription as a club member, each month you’ll get something new and always have something to look forward to. The fiber content of the yarns will range from plant-based to animal fibers to blends with synthetics. That also means some will be hand wash and some will be superwash (or machine washable). I pride myself on quality and promise you they’ll never be gaudy synthetics and never be harsh or scratchy.
The retail value of the total yarn, and perhaps other included surprise goodies, will at least equal or exceed the cost of the club! You’ll receive around 3.5-4 oz of most yarns. But there might be a rare chance of me getting my hands on something super special that costs more. And in that case, the skein might be smaller.
I will dye up a set quantity of yarn for each month, and when it’s gone, it’s gone with no guarantee that later it’ll be part of my normal line. So if you want to be sure to get more, sign up for a double for the same quarter. If you like to live on the edge, sign up for a single and hope there’s some left if you want more.
The fiber will be shipped around the end of each month.
- • approx 3.5-4oz each month
- • Hand-dyed with professional dyes that are colorfast and washfast.
- • This comes from a pet friendly, smoke-free environment.
- • Total shipping cost will be added in cart
This hat is named "the Fortune Teller Hat" because the top reminds me of an origami paper toy I played with as a child. You ask a question, open and close the fortune teller a certain number of times, then open a flap to reveal the answer.
Issue 4 Spring 2005 has an interview with Claudine Hellmuth, the regular column "Dear Calamity Jule & Outlaw Pete" by Juliana Coles, and contributors are Charl Agiza, Cynthia Gaub, Juliana Coles, and Traci Bunkers. There's also a mail art gallery.
This is an 8-1/2" x 11" collage sheet of my original work available for download as a jpeg file for you to print out and use in your mixed-media work.
