This is an original photograph transferred by hand onto stretched canvas using an image transfer technique. This imprecise method creates a bit of an aged or grunge effect from the tears, rubs, and scratches in the finished image, that are part of the process. I feel this adds charm and a hand-made look to the piece. The texture on the surface of the canvas is also a result from the transfer method.
The piece is signed and dated on the front. The sides are painted with black acrylic paint so it can either be hung as is, or framed. The front and sides are sealed with polymer varnish.
The copyright watermark is not on the original artwork. The piece was photographed before varnishing.
(Note: I do my best to make sure the color looks accurate, but, everyone’s monitor is different. So the color might look different in real life than it does on your computer.)
