Hand-dyed Superwash Merino 'n Nylon Sock Blanks: Easter Parade
Easter Parade has a wide range of soft yellows, pinks and purples.
This sock blank is knit from a 4-ply single strand of 75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon in fingering/sock weight. This soft but durable yarn will not felt, and can be machine washed and dried, making it great for socks, lacy shawls, light-weight sweaters or kids’ garments. Works great for knitting, crochet, or weaving, and is available in many rich colors.
Since these hand-dyed sock blanks are single-stranded, if you make a pair of socks from one sock blank, they probably won’t match, depending on how I’ve dyed the blank. I dye them in matching pairs, so if you really want matching socks, you can buy both (unless someone already bought one of them). 1 sock blank is enough for 1 pair of socks. If you buy 2 blanks that I dyed together, you can make 2 matching pairs. Keep in mind that whatever you make from the sock blank will look different than the color pattern on the dyed sock blank.
Sock blanks dyed in the same colorway will vary each time depending on how I’ve dyed them. You will receive the sock blank shown in the photo, or its twin. I hand-dye the sock blanks with professional acid dyes that are colorfast and washfast. Each sock blank/skein is approx 3-1/2 oz. and 460 yds.
(Note: I do my best to make sure the color looks accurate, but, everyone’s monitor is different. So the color might look different in real life than it does on your computer. Hand-dyed colors vary from batch to batch, so please be sure to buy enough for your project.)
