March Newsletter

Hi Everyone! Aren’t you glad that Spring seems to be on it’s way? I know I am. I’ve got lots of things going on that I wanted to tell you about!

First off, my open house is next weekend!
March 20th, 1-4pm
1313 Elmwood St
Lawrence, KS 66044

My arthouse is in the backyard. Go through the gate and across the side porch on the south side of my house.

Please come by if you are in the area and check out my goods! If you can’t make it, you can shop on my web site. I’ve got new things that I’m adding to it as I have time. I’ll show you some of things in a minute. If you click on the picture, it’ll take you to my web site and you can see the info bigger!

A BIGGIE is my book Print & Stamp Lab will be available April 1! I’m super excited about that of course. It’s all about making your own printing and stamping tools from everyday objects, and out of things normally used for other purposes. You can pre-order it now! It’s a great book, and I’m really proud of myself.

I’m ready to teach my first online workshop, PostArt Cards on the Edge! I’m pretty excited about it. Although it’s set up in 4 lessons, you can work at your own pace, at your own home. The workshop will be presented through videos and downloadable handouts. You’ll learn how to make mail art in my funky-fresh style! The techniques that you learn can be used to create any kind of mail art.
It’s only $40! Sign up now before you forget!

The workshop starts April 12th, but since it’s self-paced, you can sign up and begin at any time, even after the start date. All of the info will be available online until August 12th. Let me know if you have any questions!

Here are some of the new yarns and fiber that I’ve got. You can see them at my open house, or on my web site. If you click on the picture, you can see some other colors also available. I’ve got more! And I’ll add them to my web site as I have time. (Oh, if anyone knows how I can clone myself, please let me know!)

Last but not least, I’m teaching 4 workshops in May at Art & Soul in Hampton, Virginia. It’s a great art retreat held in the Embassy Suites. There are still some spaces in my workshop, so there is still time to sign up. But don’t wait too long!
That’s all for now!
