Since it’s getting colder, I felt I needed to get some more warm, but light-weight jackets to wear while I’m painting in my studio. So I while running errands, I stopped at the Salvation Army, and got 2 inexpensive polar fleece jackets. I washed & dried them so I could try them out.
Here you can see one of them is plaid! So I can be stylish while getting my art on. Not bad for $6. (the other one was only $4!)
Tonight I worked more on this piece, that I attached the photo to yesterday. I really changed the feel of it with the colors that I added. I really like how this is turning out, and I have some ideas of what else to do to it. I think I might make a stamp to stamp along the sides.

I would so much love to see a whole process from you. Your pices looks so amazing.
On the 8th I did some easy crafting since it was my husbands birthday. http://avcamilla.wordpress.com/2012/10/08/30-days-of-get-your-art-on-oct-8/
This is gorgeous!! Love the green underneath!
Do I spy some Jacquard Lumieres? I love them, so great for highlighting texture.
Love the red/green/gold combination.
Nope! Although I do have Jacquard Lumieres, I didn’t use any on this.
I love the colours and texture on the frame – delicious
I love your work! Since I found out about 30 Days of Get Your Art On, I’ve been following your blog.
I’m late to post& take photos, but I have been working on art daily:-)
