I made a little video (using Stupeflix) of some of the work I created during my 30 Days of Get Your Art On. (It’s super simple to make little videos like this. I used the free version, which allows you to make a video about 1 minute long.)
Now, it has been very weird not blogging every day. I wanted to blog on my vacation about what I was doing, but didn’t have free wifi, so I couldn’t. But don’t worry, I’m going to do some posts about what I did, showing pics & artwork that I made. In the mean time, as usual, I’m playing catch up from being gone. But I had a fabulous time! I’m also thinking of making a zine about my trip. But that will take a little longer than some blog posts.
Those of you who started 30 Days after July 1, how did it go for you? Did you finish, or art you still plugging along? I think I made some sort of art every day on my vacation, and want to get back into the swing of doing it everyday again. Starting tomorrow?
I have been making art *almost* every day. The current projects are a pinhole camera, a mixed media piece, and a new art journal. I can’t wait to see the new posts =)
Was this your birthday trip to Santa Fe? I’m glad you had a good time, and had the chance to get away for a while! I’ve missed your blog posts 🙂
Hey Brent! No, my birthday is in November-this was just a trip because I wanted to take a vacation & visit my friends. Plus, my free flight from my frequent flier miles were about to expire, so it was take a trip or lose them.
Thanks! (for missing my blog posts). There will be lots more with lots of photos of my trip. I had a great time.
I did art every day during July. Haven’t been quite as consistent since then but am getting back to full tilt! thanks for your inspiration!
What an AWESOME way to show your 30 Days! LOVE seeing them this way & I enjoyed seeing you work on them through out the 30 days!!!
Amazing video – an outstanding way to display your 30 Days! Will have to tuck that idea into the memory banks.
I did indeed do all of my 30 Days, finishing on 12 August. you can see my last 30 Days blog post at: http://annclinations.blogspot.com/2011/08/day-30.html
The 30 Days challenge was very educational for me. I hope that the insights I gleaned from participating are ones I can continue to learn from. Thank you, Traci, for suggesting it!
