Tonight I was pretty tired, so I just wanted to chill, and do something colorful. It’s pretty relaxing to work this way. I really like playing with repeating patterns, and I’m working on some ideas that I might want to do with fabric. I used the fine end of an Identi-Pen (it has a fine-point and a broad point) and Koi watercolors.
This was the last page of my sketch book! So tomorrow I’ll start a new one. I’m going to use one of the Strathmore Visual Journals.
The have really nice, thick paper that is great for watercolors or markers. I’m thinking of going with a big one! We’ll see. Tomorrow will be a really busy day for me because I’m working on my new book, and need to finish some of the projects to ship off to England. Hopefully I won’t be posting my daily drawing at 3am.
You can see the rest of my posts for 30 Days of Drawing here.

Oh that would have been very meditative for sure. LOVE it and the colours!
Soo gorgeous, soothing, and uplifting. Dale shared this on Facebook and I’m so glad she did. Love it! I want to try this kind of meditative artwork–I can almost feel my hand moving already. Beautiful!
Ooo….I like!
