I’m continuing with getting my art on and starting my day with making art! This morning, I started working on two new journals by working on the covers. I already had them “assembled”, which was a time saver.
I’ll have them finished to take with me to Journalfest to sell. Which reminds me, have you signed up for my workshops there? I’m teaching a bookmaking class, Revival: An Awakening, and my popular journaling class, The Maiden Voyage. I’ve cut back on my teaching, and since this is a small venue, it’s an excellent opportunity to take a workshop from me in an intimate setting. What are you waiting for?
And speaking of workshops, I am taking a 14-week teleconference workshop, “Your Best Life in the Arts” from Eric Maisel!
The first teleconference was tonight, and it was amazing. I’m really excited to be taking it and just after tonight, I feel like it’s going to really help me along my path of being the best artist that I can be, and to help me with some of my self-inflicted road blocks! I’m very stoked. I’m glad that each conference call will also be available as an audio file that I can listen to later, to be sure I soak in as much info as I can. I was taking notes as fast as I could, but note taking can also cause you to miss things. I can’t wait for the next class!
Those covers are going to be AWESOME!

That is so cool that you’re taking Eric Maisel’s workshop. Years ago, I was lucky enough to be coached by a student in his creativity coaching program. It was great!
