30 Days of Get Your Art On – 09.25.11

Today, I treated myself to lunch at the Mirth Cafe, which was good and bad. Good in that I did this sketch while I was waiting for my food, and what I ate of the food was good. Bad in that the server forgot to put my order in and it took quite awhile to get my food. By the time I did get it, I only ate half so I would have the other half for dinner, but I walked out without my leftovers.

I was just outside taking pictures, so when I remembered after about 10 minutes, I went back in, only to find out they had been thrown away. The server said people forget their leftovers all the time and I was the first one to ever come back for mine. Dang. I’m so bummed I forgot them and it was thrown away so fast.

I did have good time doing the sketch. I drew with my Pitt Big Brush Artist Pen and then added color with my Sakura Koi Watercolor set. After I left, you know, when I forgot my doggie bag, I walked around the alley taking some pictures. I wanted to try out the new Hipstamatic Lucas AB2 lens from the Wicker Park Hipstapak that I had just downloaded. I like!
